Getting started

  1. Run the installer, or unzip the portable version and run ThreebrookInterpret.exe.
  2. It sits in the tray. Select some text and press Alt+D, or press Alt+W and draw a box.
  3. Right-click the tray icon for Settings: engines, shortcuts, glossary.

If Windows SmartScreen says it “protected your PC”, click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. The app isn’t code-signed yet.

What’s new in 0.7.0

  • First public release.
  • Translate typed text, selected text or a screenshot, each with its own shortcut. Turn on several engines at once and compare results side by side.
  • Screenshots: 8 annotation tools, pin to screen, and scrolling capture. Recognize text in a capture, copy it or save it.
  • Clipboard history for text and images: press Alt+H to find something, Enter to paste it.
  • Glossary: fix how names, product terms and your team’s jargon are translated.
  • Chinese and English interface, light and dark themes, an installer and two portable versions.
